Mission Statement
To Assure All Victim/Witnesses of Crime Are Honored and Protected in a Manner No Less Vigorous Than the Protection Afforded Criminal Defendants.
What is the Victim Advocate Program?
The Victim Advocate Program is a volunteer based program serving unincorporated Adams County. It is designed to provide crisis intervention to victims of crime. Crime victims and witnesses often suffer emotional trauma, fear, confusion, and financial loss. Victim Advocates are available 24 hours a Day 7 days a week to respond within one hour to the designated location.
The Rights of Victims of Crimes
If you are a victim of any one of the crimes listed here, Your right to be informed and to participate in all critical stages of the criminal justice process related to that crime is guaranteed by the Colorado Constitution. The Constitution of the State of Colorado and the laws of this state Guarantee rights to the victims of the following crimes: If the victim is deceased or incapacitated, these rights are guaranteed to the victim's spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, significant other, or other lawful representative. the Constitution or the State of Colorado and the lese of the state C.R.S. 24-4.1-302(1) guarantee certain rights to the victims of the following acts:

Victim Information and Notification Everyday will monitor the custody status of offenders in the Adams County Detention Facility. Information is available to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will give you other important information. VINE will also let you register telephone numbers where you can be notified if an offender is released or transferred.
How to register - To register, simply dial the VINE toll free number above with the following information:
" A telephone number, including area code where you can be reached for notification.
" A 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). This number is mandatory with telephone notification registration. OR
" An email address.
How VINE works - Calls will be made every ½ hour for up to 48 hours, or until a PIN is entered to stop the notification calls. When VINE calls, listed to the entire message, enter your PIN, and press the pound (#) key on your telephone when asked. Entering the PIN and pressing the pound (#) key lets VINE know that you received the call, and will stop the VINE service from calling you again unless the offender's custody status changes.

2. Enter a 10-Digit phone number. Select a 4-digit PIN Number for notification
3. Received notification when offenders status changes
4. Enter PIN CODE to confirm receipt
