To Register or Change Your Voter Registration
If you have moved to the state of Colorado, to a new county within the state or have changed your address, you should register or reregister to vote. Your new address is not automatically tracked or changed for voter registration purposes when you move. If you have changed your name - through marriage, divorce or a legal name change - you will also need to update your voter registration records with the county clerk where you reside.
To register or change your voter registration you complete a new Voter Registration Application (English
). Complete the application including all the required information and check the appropriate box (i.e., new registration, party affiliation change, address change or other similar action), indicating the type of registration being processed. Remember you must be registered to vote at least 22 days before any election
at which you intend to vote. Forms may be dropped off at any one of our Adams County motor vehicle offices
or mailed to / dropped off at our Election Department at 4430 South Adams County Parkway, 1st Floor, Suite E3102, Brighton, CO 80601.
