Dog License Application

All dogs over six (6) months of age that reside in unincorporated Adams County are required to have a dog license.  A current rabies vaccination certificate is required, as well as a certificate of spay or neuter if applicable.  The license will be valid for one year.

There is no cost for a dog license for a spayed or neutered dog.  The cost for an unspayed or un-neutered dog is $25.  Click here to download the Dog License Application.

You may apply for a license in person at the Adams County Animal Shelter.  The hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

For additional information, contact the Adams County Animal Shelter at 303.288.3294.
