Pursuant to 16-22-112, Colorado Revised Statutes, law enforcement agencies are authorized to release information to its residents about registered sex offenders living within the agency’s jurisdiction. The Adams County Sheriff's Office only maintains information on sex offenders residing in unincorporated Adams County. All sex offenders, who are required to register but reside within the boundaries of municipalities in Adams County, must register with their local police departments.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office will release the Sex Offender Registry List to citizens so that they may better protect themselves and their children from these sex offenders.
